The magic behind the app being viral is that the users can send messages anonymously and the receiver doesn’t get any identity of the sender. You can confess anything to a person without revealing your identity. The app says its motto as “Sarahah helps people self-develop by receiving constructive anonymous feedback”.

HOW TO USE SARAHAH?
To confess something to a person using the app first, you need to download and install the app on your device.
For Android Users – Play Store
For iOS Users – App Store
Once installed you need to register an account in the app with your name, email, and password. You need to choose a unique user id. To let your friends know about your profile, you can directly share your profile link in Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter and any other social media platform.
Now that, your friends know your profile, they can send you constructive messages anonymously. All you get is the message only, there will be no whereabouts about the sender, sender’s location, and other details. You can’t even text them back responding to their feedback. However, Sarahah states that they are working on that feature.
In the settings Menu, you have options to choose your privacy. You can hide from Search results. So those only friends who know your profile can send you messages.
Note: There are many instances of this app being used to threat someone anonymously. This app is made for fun. DO make good use of the application diligently and causing no harm to others.
